Getting there – Chumphon

Our center is situated Tung Wua Laen Beach, Chumphon at Sea Beach Bungalows, 15km NE of Chumphon Town.

From Bangkok (6-8hrs drive)

Drive South on Petchasem Road out of Bangkok for 445 KM. When you arrive in Tha Sae, turn left on Highway 3180 for 15 km and follow the signs for Sa Phli / Tung Wua Laen. Once you arrive in Sa Phli, drive another 4 KM and look for a sign for Nana Beach Hotel / Tung Wua Laen. Turn left for Tung Wua Laen Beach and drive 1 KM and you will see Kiteboarding Asia on the left and Sea Beach Bungalows to the right.

From the South:

Drive North on Petchasem Road toward Surat Thani / Chumphon. From Petchasem road turn right onto highway 327 towards Chumphon. At the first round about turn left at the first exit for Route 1001. After 1 km turn right onto route 1013. Cross the rail road tracks and turn left onto route 3180 and follow the signs for Thung Wua Laen Beach. Route 3180 will end at a T junction in thung Wua Laen Beach. Turn left and drive 2 km. KBA will be on the right in front of Sea Beach Bungalows.

Taxi

A taxi from Chumphon Town or the train station should be 300 – 400 baht or 400 – 500 from the main bus station.

By bus (6-8Hrs)

There are many government buses leaving from Bangkok (Southern Bus Station), Phuket, or Krabi at all times of the day and evening from 2nd class to VIP starting around 300 baht.

Bangkok overnight

leave from Khao San Road or Southern Bus Station, Bangkok around 6:00pm daily. Go to a local travel agency in Bangkok and get a bus, or train ticket.

Train (7-10Hrs)

There are 10 trains a day that arrive in Chumphon from the North and 10 from the South. There are 2 that leave from Bangkok in the morning and 8 in the afternoon / evening. From Bangkok it is a 7 – 10 hour ride depending on which class you book. Air

Chumphon also has an airport with flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang & Suvarnabhumi) on Nok Air or Happy Air.

From Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui few times a day. Lomprayah Catamaran, Seatran Ferry,Songserm Express Boat, Ko Charoen Car Ferry.
