Hua Hin Kitesurfing School is KBA’s first kite school in Thailand. The wind in Hua Hin is good almost all year around with the best season from Sept to May. Its perfect for lessons, with a long sandy beach, light to medium winds and perfect wind direction.

Kitesurfing School Hua Hin – The best location for learning to kitesurf
A 5 km of long beach. Hua Hin has the longest windy season in Thailand, almost all year around. Add to that, flat water, wide swallow sandy beach, so its easy to stand up in the water and fly the kite. Expect fine white and sun just about everyday.
Location 3hrs South of Bangkok by car
Its 180km south of Bangkok. There is a total of 40 km of coastline north and south of Hua Hin awaiting discovery, with many beaches to escape to for a quiet kiting day.

Wind statistics
October through January - the northeasterly monsoons, wind ranging from 8-20 knots side onshore. The wind blows in cycles averaging 6-10 days at a time. Wind is generally strongest in the morning, decreasing over the day.
Direction
Wind direction is generally northerly in the morning turning slowly around to the northeast over the day.
February - May
Sea breezes 12-20 knots side onshore, kicking in around 11:00, building until around 18:00 then decreasing as the sun goes down.
May - October
the south westerly monsoons producing gusty offshore wind and some days with rainy but not every day we are still getting 50% days with good SE Sea breeze Sid on shore wind.
