Vapor

The New Benchmark in Kiteboarding

Airush are proud to introduce the Vapor, a Flat 5 kite that is setting the new benchmark in kiteboarding.

The Vapor focuses on maintaining the steering characteristics of a high performance C-Kite with a new level of extended wind range and depower traditionally only found in bridled kites. The Flat 5 configuration features a super functional 5 line design without any additional bridling. The Vapor is excellent for all levels of riding from dedicated wave riding to dedicated freestyle and is perfect for hooked in or unhooked riding.

Unlike traditional 5th line kites, the Vapor has a 5th line fixed stopper which keeps the 5th line exactly the same length as your front lines. This enables you to adjust your depower and 5th line length in one go without having to adjust and re-cleat your 5th line every time the wind changes. It also prevents “bowed out” slack section in the fifth line and maintains the correct amount of tension on the leading edge. Therefore stabilizing the leading edge curve, eliminating the steering lag or tangles which are caused by bridles.

Kite features that set this kite apart from any other:

  • Unique 5th line fixed stopper, ensuring 5th line maintains equal length with front lines
  • Pulley free bar for high performance C-Kite feel
  • Light, responsive bar with power steering sensation
  • Flat 5 design without bridles
  • Over sized valve inlet of single pump system for easy inflation
  • Modular single pump system for easy maintenance

The Vapor is very simply the new benchmark in kiteboarding

Reactor

Although the Reactor has seen another year of refinement, the legacy remains the same.

The Reactor is not for everyone. Designed to turn on a dime and reach warp speed blasting through the window, this kite requires precise rider input. Its legendary drive builds an increasing group of core followers each year.

Watch Tom Herbert throw a 20-foot kiteloop handlepass or Felix Pivec blast out of a lip, and the Reactor's thoroughbred performance is obvious. The Pro's choice.

Tech Features :
·  Increased depower due to reduced Span/Chord ratio.
·  High performance C-Kite design
·  Fine entry foil for maximum speed and upwind ability
·  Versatile 5 Line/4 Line Bar design

Lift

C-Kite simplicity with the legendary Lift Performance

In its 6th year, the Lift remains a benchmark for all-around performance C kites. The focus on the 07 Lifts has been to increase the smoothness of the power delivery and to deliver consistent performance through all sizes.

Further refinements in construction have increased seam, trailing edge, and wingtip reinforcement as well as improving panel orientation to remove any span-wise seams from the front 60% of the canopy. This ensures improved foil shape under load and better long term performance.

Tech Features :
·  Smooth power delivery
·  Refined C-Kite design
·  Consistent performance in all sizes

HALO

Evolution evolved

In its second year, our dedicated bow design has seen an intense year of refinement. Working within the parameters of the original bow concept, we have focused on increased stability in the smaller sizes and improved steering and responsiveness in the bigger sizes. In 06 the Halo was heralded by magazines and testers alike for its direct steering and responsiveness.

Tech Features :
·  Maximum depower and active bar release safety
·  Refined BOW design
·  Increased stability in smaller sizes
·  Improved response in larger sizes

Flow SLE

BOW Versatility, C-Kite functionality

We put an incredible amount of energy into building a true hybrid kite that combines the incredible wind range and sheeting ability of a BOW kite with the direct steering and bar simplicity of a 4-line kite.

Originally developed as an all-around freeride kite, the combination of depower and positive steering has made the Flow hugely popular with our wave testers. By moving to a less swept wingtip when compared to a pure BOW design, the Flow requires less bar movement to achieve a given amount of depower while almost eliminating bar pressure. This unique geometry has allowed us to run a bar system that does not need the outside pulleys and gives the Flow excellent unhooked performance combined with incredible rider feedback and sensitivity.

Tech Features :
·  Versatile Hybrid design
·  Optimum combination of performance and ease of use
·  No bar pulleys ensure direct steering and reduced bar pressure
